Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipping is the transportation of relatively small freight (150lbs - 20,000lbs). LTL freight doesn't utilize the full capacity of a semi-trailer. LTL shipments share the cargo space of a trailer with other LTL shipments which may be destined to other locations.
